The Atomic Bombcatz are a four-piece Southeast Michigan band serving up energetic, retro-leaning rockabilly with a modern edge. Formerly known as the Memphis Thrillbillies, the band has evolved into a tight, high-octane live act built for packed rooms and nonstop movement.
Anchored by Kyle Kipp (Black Jake & The Carnies), whose surfy, driving basslines cut straight through the mix, the Bobcatz blend reverb-heavy guitars, vintage rock ’n’ roll swagger, and raw, dance-ready rhythms. Their sound pulls from classic rockabilly, surf rock, and garage rock, landing somewhere between throwback cool and full-throttle party mode.
