Get ready for a wild night with Black Jake & The Carnies, a band that “cuts rugs like pure bottled lightning,” blending spindly bluegrass and honky-tonk with a psychobilly edge. From Southeast Michigan, they’re known as “The Original Kings of Crabgrass,” and their unique fusion of bluegrass, punk, spaghetti western, and Vaudeville will have you on your feet from the first note. Jeff Milo of iSpy Magazine describes them as delivering “punk-spat pirouetting” energy, and with their carnival-like stage antics and crowd interaction, the fun is infectious.
We will be serving up all kinds of St. Patrick's Day drink specials along with the many shenanigans and carnival-style games that give Black Jake & The Carnies shows such a wild vibe!
