Formed in 2019, the Blue Space band is a collaboration of seasoned musicians from Brighton and Chelsea, Michigan. The lineup features David Gotwals on drums, Jim Nelson on guitar, Adam Hedgcock on bass (all from Brighton), and Aaron Fredette on vocals and guitar from Chelsea. Fredette has also performed alongside favorites, including Gregory Stovetop and Wicked Midgets, bringing a wealth of stage experience to the group.
Together, Blue Space delivers their own unique take on classic rock standards and lesser-known gems. Their setlist spans decades of influential music, from the swagger of The Rolling Stones and the mystique of The Doors to the art-rock grooves of Talking Heads, the new wave punch of The Cars, and the timeless storytelling of Johnny Cash. The result is a lively, well-crafted show that mixes familiar favorites with a few surprises along the way. 🎶
