John F. O'Donnell is an NYC-based, national headlining comedian. He was a correspondent on the comedy news TV show, ‘Redacted Tonight,’ for 5 years. Recently, he released his debut one-hour stand-up special 'The Manic Depressive Chocolate Fountain Operator,' directed by Brendan Canty of Fugazi on the 800 Pound Gorilla Media label. According to the Comedy Central Insider, "John F. O'Donnell is one of the more explosive comics in New York City. On stage, he's like a tightly capped liter of soda filled with lit fireworks."
John has been featured in The New York Times and The LA Times, as well as being one of Comedy Central's Fresh Faces of Comedy. He has performed at a number of comedy festivals around the country and beyond, including The San Francisco 'Sketch Festival,' 'The Bridgetown Comedy Festival,' 'The Edinburgh Fringe Festival,' 'The New York Comedy Festival,' 'The Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival,' and 'The Limestone Comedy Festival.' He's been a favorite guest on the popular podcasts ‘You Made It Weird w/ Pete Holmes,’ ‘RISK! with Kevin Allison,’ and ‘Skeptic Tank with Ari Shaffir.’
John is also the co-creator and host of the 15-city hit show, ’50 First Jokes.’ He recently performed a week of shows in Germany, where he headlined the prestigious 'English Theatre Berlin.' John has also performed at the legendary 'JFK Center For The Performing Arts,' and has been interviewed by Larry King. JFOD was given a Congressional Press Credential during the Presidential election and was seen covering the debates on location for ‘Redacted Tonight,’ which, if you know him, seems like a terrible breach of security. John currently has a podcast called, ‘Take Your Pills, Psychopath!” that uses comedy to destigmatize mental health issues. His newest endeavor is a solo show entitled, ‘I’M ON LITHIUM: A Comedic Journey About Bipolar Disorder,’ which he performs in residency at The Knitting Factory in Manhattan’s East Village.
Brad Wenzel’s offbeat one-liners, dry delivery, and unassuming presence are what set him apart from other comedians. Brad has made regular stand-up appearances on CONAN and more recently performed on Netflix is a Joke Radio. His debut comedy album Sweet Nothings was released on Jack White’s rock label, Third Man Records and can be heard on SiriusXM. Paste Magazine described Brad’s 2023 special, joke. joke. joke. as “Watching Wenzel feels like hanging out with your funniest, weirdest friend; it's relaxing and utterly enjoyable" Paste also listed joke. joke. joke. as one of the 20 best comedy specials of the year.
Since the age of 17, Brad has toured the country, honing his unique non-sequitur style of joke telling, all while maintaining an original, comedic voice. Simply put, he’s really funny. Other appearances include “New Faces” at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, and Bob & Tom.
Shelly Smith is a Michigan based comedian. She hosts and produces the 'Reads and Weeds' podcast and the annual 50 First Jokes Ann Arbor.
Jesse Popp was born in Garden City, MI. It was there in Michigan that he started doing stand-up in 2000. He moved to New York in 2006 and co-produced the weekly 'Beauty Bar Comedy Show' for five years. Jesse recently taped a Comedy Central Half Hour special and has also performed stand-up on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and TBS’ CONAN. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is staff a writer for CONAN.
