About the event
Brett Mercer
Brett Mercer has been performing comedy and producing shows in Detroit since 2014. He’s performed in bars, coffee shops, living rooms, recycling centers, and (occasionally) comedy clubs all over the country, wondering what “the deal” is with a variety of topics, large and small.
He is one of the hosts of the long-running comedy podcast Big Time Garbage. He has performed at Motor City Comedy Festival (Detroit), Whiskey Bear comedy festival (Columbus), and Let’s Fest (Fort Wayne) and has shared the stage with Paul F. Thompkins, Andy Kindler, Todd Barry, and Stavros Halkias.
Amber Maeda
Detroit is now Amber's home where she is highly involved with her local scene as a producer at The Independent Comedy Club, an actress at Planet Ant Theatre as well as writing a web series with the PA film team.
Her stories of her Asian family upbringing and witty one-liners make her a relatable crowd-favorite. Her dark humor is juxtaposed with her happy-go-lucky delivery, warming the hearts of audiences all over!
Check out her cabaret debut at downtown Ann Arbor’s Uplift starting March 2nd through April!
Kevin Key
Based out of Michigan Kevin has preformed regularly at the Ann Arbor comedy showcase, Detroit house of comedy, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle & More!
He has opened for Kira Soltonovich, rocky Dale Davis, Big Irish Jay, & Uncle Lazer!
He can’t be seen on Festivals around the country!
His mix of stories and unmitigated ADD will have you laughing and guessing the whole way Home!
