Stop living in your head. And start livin in your skin. What you heard is all dead. But still you try to read the headlines in the wind. Hey, everywhere these tongues you thought you trusted, naw, naw don't expect too much. It's all a dream. Gonna light this place on fire after all. No way. I won't let my heart get too lost. Oookay. So give me the light a feed me to the storm. Stop living in your head. Start living in your skin. What you heard is all dead. But still you try to read the headlines in the wind.

-'Headlines' by Gregory Stovetop

Let's go get messed up on the good stuff. Let's go make love. Never break up. I know what you're made of. Where did you come from? It's the good stuff. Hearts are on. The dance floor comes unglued. Just the way that I twist when the night moves like this. Yeah, I love you now, and I'm scared that you do too. Let's go get messed up on the good stuff.

Ryan Racine

Ryan Racine is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Southeast Michigan with nearly three decades of performance experience under his belt. Though he's been active in bands for most of his life, he stepped into the solo spotlight in 2018 with his debut album Outsider’s Heart—a deeply personal collection rooted in American folk and roots traditions. The record explores themes of identity, depression, newfound love, and the complicated journey toward happiness.

Since then, Ryan has released a string of singles and is currently in the studio working on a new album, slated for release in early 2025.

He first gained local acclaim as the frontman of Lucky Haskins, an Ann Arbor-based rockabilly trio he co-founded at just 15 years old. The band built a loyal following and helped reintroduce rockabilly to a younger crowd in the region, sharing the stage with icons like Carl Perkins and Lee Rocker, and landing spots at major events.

Ryan Racine’s sound sits at the crossroads of Americana, alt-country, and roots rock. Think of the introspective storytelling of Jason Isbell, the raw emotional honesty of Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), and the vintage twang and swagger of Chris Isaak or early Ryan Adams. His voice carries that lived-in quality—equal parts grit and warmth—while his songwriting leans into vulnerability, resilience, and melody-rich hooks.
